Speaker Profile

Mr. Chad Fraser is one of the cofounders and chief executive officer of Sonover with more than 15 years experience in the software development industry. In addition to his main responsibilities in running the company and setting overall strategy, he remains actively involved in the engineering, design, and product development within the organisation. His profession spans ICT solutions development, eGovernment consulting, research and advisory, business process reengineering, change management, IT Strategy, governance and quality as- surance. He spent his first 4 working years as Chief Technology Officer at Ameltek where he served as Infor- mation Communication and Technology consultant for Public sector and many private sector organisations as well as managed the development and implementation of custom information systems for companies locally and internationally. He also led the development of a centralised criminal record and law enforcement informa- tion system for the Royal Grenada Police Force. Mr. Fraser has also led the development of a human resource management system for the Ministry of Youth’s Imani programme and the development of a boatyard and project management information system for Grenada Marine. Mr. Fraser was selected by the Grenada Cabinet to be a member on the national steering committee of the Caribbean Regional Communication Infrastructure Program (CARCIP), and sits on the board of the Grenada Postal Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Management Information System from St. George’s University, Grenada and possesses a number of certifications in his field.
