Bret McAllister is an accomplished executive with 25+ years of strategic and hands-on experience leading technology, call center operations, sales, and customer service organizations. He has a proven track record of exceeding corporate goals for enhancing productivity, reducing costs, implementing large scale projects, and managing change without giving up growth or profit. Bret is a mature and diversely experienced people leader with expertise in hiring, mentoring, and managing teams in all areas of the organization. For 10 years Bret ran a full-service IT consulting firm with clients in the aerospace, legal, and healthcare fields. In 2000 he went to work directly for one of his clients, 1-800-DENTIST®, as the Chief Technology Officer. At 1-800-DENTIST, Bret was the chief architect of the company’s proprietary matching and leads distribution engine, was responsible for the computer and telephony systems used in the 24x7 call center, and managed the software engineering teams who built their state-of-the-art SaaS products. For the final 6 years of his 16-year tenure at 1-800-DENTIST, he additionally took on the role of SVP of Operations to run the day-to-day operations of the 160-seat call center and led both B2B and B2C customer success initiatives. Since 2016, Bret is the VP of Client Success for SingleComm, the provider of an all-in-one Customer Experience platform, where he is responsible for managing on-boarding and support engagements for SingleComm’s marquee and premiere clients. Bret earned an MBA from Pepperdine University and two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Southern California.
