Alejandra Romero made a long track career of more than twenty years in Qualfon. As a VP of Global Solutions and COO, she became a pioneer female in Latin American in holding key positions in the industry and a well-known player in the BPO industry in the region.
She started her career in the industry in 1997, serving IBM the largest global internet and ISP at that time. Over the years, besides operations, she was co-responsible of the company´s expansion in Latin America, Philippines and USA.
In the last three years, Alejandra has been contributing with different companies, including IMT (Instituto Mexicano de Teleservicios) the most tenure association and most important developer of the industry in Mexico. As IMT Senior Analyst she is responsible of industry researches including the International Competitiveness Report, which was sponsored by the World Wide Bank in 2016.
Her proven experience in international operations includes Financial services, Telecom, Retail and Digital Marketing. She also has created innovating operation models and methodologies for implementations, scouting and site selection processes which were proved in emerging locations in more than fifteen opened centers in seven different countries.
As a key player in strategic planning and business intelligence, she has participated in different processes of joint ventures and Mergers and Acquisitions.
As a strong believer and promoter of job generation for young people, women and vulnerable groups, she also participates actively and permanently in volunteering programs.
